Responsible for running the design department, producing and overseeing POS and integrated campaigns for retailers Co-Operative and Spar and marketing for RMI in both print and digital.

PUBLICIS BLUEPRINT
Working with senior art director responsibilities oversaw Heathrow Traveller and associated titles for Heathrow retailers such as Showcase and launch of a fashion supplement called Runway. Produced an integrated food and drink campaign for Heathrow including a 12 second film screened on JCDecaux screens at the airport and Heathrow Express trains to promote 15 minute menus in the restaurants. In 2013 role moved to working with the creative director and new business development team, proposing to new and existing clients (such as Asda, Vue Cinemas and HP) solutions that were content driven and not restricted to a single medium or platform. Between 2013 and 2015 played a key role in developing the events side of the company through the relaunching of Devweek and Software Architect titles and responsible for all accompanying pieces of collateral and display material. Designed brand books for Publicis London for their client SCA and was involved in the successful pitch to O2 for their customer magazine.

At Think, art direction on existing titles such as the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA), and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). At Haymarket, working on Autocar, Gramophone, Canon, Berkeley Homes, and G4S Olympic Programme.

Responsible for the editorial design of a range of titles and multilingual content for Story’s clients and global programmes such as Lexus and RCI. Other clients included COI and IATA. Managed a team of two art directors, a senior designer, a designer and junior designer producing pitchwork, magazine and brochure layouts and developing titles to be integrated into iPad format. Managed creatives who were able to work across different disciplines beyond print, such as digital campaigns and apps. In addition, managed a picture desk of two people responsible for commissioning content for the wider agency beyond editorial content. In 2008 was part of the Lexus team that won the APA Effectiveness Award for Most Effective Automotive title.

Regional Art Director for UK and Europe on Lexus Magazine, a quarterly international magazine translated into 8 European languages. The role entailed art direction, commissioning of photographers and illustrators, and layout on features about lifestyle, travel and auto for the European market and the design of Lexus e-news for UK customers. During this time, was Art Director on The Marketer, a monthly title for members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, (CIM). Pitched and won IATA Magazine, a monthly magazine for the airline industry’s business leaders. Nominated for APA Designer of the Year for design work on The Marketer in 2006.

Freelance role on Waitrose, Natwest and Sky Magazine became an Art Director role on the Skybuy section within Sky Magazine, (a monthly title for over 6 million subscribers) Involved organising of shoots, commissioning of photographers, design and layout, and frequent client interfacing.
